Michael Phelps challenges McGregor to a swimming race

Because McGregor recently swapped the octogan for the ring, Phelps is considering challenging McGregor in the pool. He asked his 2.2 million strong Twitter following if he should step out of retirement and challenge McGregor to a swimming race. Earlier this year, Phelps raced a ‘shark’ as part of a Discovery Channel publicity stunt. The shark was created using CGI and beat Phelps by two seconds in the 100 metre race, but viewers expressed disappontment that he hadn’t jumped in the water with a real deadly predator.
